A Green MP in Saffron Walden

Sorry :(

This project was unsuccessful

Saffron Walden should be able to to vote for and elect a Green candidate in the 2017 General Election. Contribute and share to make it happen!

The Green Party for the Saffron Walden Constituancy need your support to raise funds so that we can field a Green Candidate in the 2017 snap election on June 8th.

With Alan Hasslehurst stepping aside in Saffron Walden, now is the best chance we've had for a very long time to make a difference in Saffron Walden.

The selection process is underway and we have some fantastic people put forward to stand - we'll update this page as the name of our candidate becomes available.  This election came as a surprise to everyone, but we are catching up!

This page will be updated daily - thank you for your donation!

What will we use your money for?

We have a target of £1000 which will enable us to:

  • Put down a candidate deposit of £500 for the Saffron Walden constituency.

  • Print leaflets, calling cards, letters, etc

  • Distribute our campaign material

  • And much more.

Any donation, large or small, will help towards reaching our goal of fielding a Green candidate and of running a clean and decent campaign.

Please ensure that you are on the electoral register as this is a requirement for donating to a political party - register to vote here. If you would like to pledge £500 or more then we will need your personal contact details and address - a requirement for political parties.
